After a chance internet encounter and subsequent track release on BC005_505 - Modern Underground Music II, Ibi Alfa is back with an 8 track EP, "Who Shall Overcome?"

Alfa has recorded for numerous labels and under a large array of aliases; his style always shifting. Over the years, he's probably shared hundreds of compositions with me. I have always been struck by his ability to be wildly diverse yet cohesive in sound; somehow always rooted in his UK Techno/Drum & Bass beginnings.

This EP came together in a particular fashion, and is a showcase of a jagged, subtle and avant-garde style. We get hints of Theo Parrish-esque rhythms and Actress-style atmospherics mixed in with Ibi's unmistakable studio technique.
